OptiFlowz Video Platform Version 1.3.0: Go Live, Create More, and Move Faster
Version 1.3.0 brings more of the content creation process into the platform. Go live, record your screen or camera, trim and crop videos, and share channel posts with your audience. A refreshed interface, faster page loads, and 10 additional languages make the experience easier to navigate and more accessible.
Go live from the platform
Live streaming is now available, giving teams a new way to share content as it happens. Alongside your video library, you can now use live broadcasts for presentations, sessions, and updates. Live chat is planned for version 1.3.1.
Record your screen, camera, or both
Create videos directly from the platform with built-in recording. Capture your screen for a walkthrough, use your camera for a personal update, or record both for a presentation that keeps the speaker and their content together.
Trim and crop your videos
New video editing tools let you refine both the timing and framing of your content. Trim unwanted sections and crop the picture to focus attention on what matters, with these adjustments available inside the platform.
Keep the conversation going with channel posts
Channels now support posts as a new type of content alongside videos. Share updates between uploads and let your audience respond through likes, dislikes, and comments.
Your account, organized into tabs
The account page now separates your content into five dedicated tabs: Watch Later, Liked Videos, Continue Watching, Saved Playlists, and My Certificates. Find saved content, return to an unfinished video, or revisit your certificates from one organized page.
A refreshed look and smoother navigation
A partial platform redesign introduces sidebar navigation and more consistent page layouts. Updated icons, smoother animations, and further interface polish help everyday interactions feel more coherent across the platform.
More control over the viewing experience
Improved video settings make playback controls easier to use on mobile. The floating mini player is now resizable, so you can adjust the video preview while browsing. Profile photo uploads also include cropping, helping you choose the framing before updating your picture.
Faster page loads and a lighter build
A smaller build package and reduced initial JavaScript and CSS loads deliver an 88% improvement in page-load speed. These optimizations reduce the amount of code and styling needed when the platform first opens.
10 new languages, 50 in total
Version 1.3.0 adds Bosnian, Catalan, Georgian, Armenian, Bengali, Urdu, Tamil, Malay, Filipino, and Swahili. Together with the 40 languages introduced in version 1.2.0, the platform interface is now available in 50 languages.
Coming next in version 1.3.1
The next update will build on live streaming and channel engagement with live chat during streams, channel following, and notifications for new videos and comment replies. Owners and administrators will get more detailed platform settings, channels will gain customizable home pages, and further UI improvements and visual polish are planned throughout the platform.
